I think this needs to be more than "Used facebook to decide who writes which section of the lab." This might be more like cooperative building or a conversation that applies Web 2.0 tools to be more than a conversation in the hall between friends, with some sort of record of the conversation or collaboration
Examples:
A language student connects (via Skype or chat) with a native speaker in another country for an extended cultural exchange and keeps a log of his communications
A student makes contact with an expert in the field and has an ongoing dialog about a project she is working on
Students organize a project using a collaborative web tool, such as a wiki. They keep track of who is responsible for what, progress updates using the tool, and generate a unified product together.
